INSULÆ is an architecture and engineering company operating nationwide in the fields of technical consultancy, integrated design, and complex project management.
Founded as an evolution of the architectural practice established by Mariano Genovese, INSULÆ builds on over twenty-five years of experience in the fields of restoration, environmental and landscape design, cultural heritage, and social projects. A multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and specialized technicians works in synergy, coordinating partners and external consultants to ensure operational efficiency and high design quality.

Over the past eighteen years, INSULÆ has managed more than 250 projects for the construction and renovation of retail spaces for major national and international brands, consolidating a method based on precision, sustainability, and integrated project management.
Since 2000, Mariano Genovese has been a member of AIAPP no. 590 — the Associazione Italiana di Architettura del Paesaggio (Italian Association of Landscape Architecture) — the national body representing Italian professionals affiliated with the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA).
A longstanding passion for landscape and the natural environment runs through every INSULÆ project, connecting disciplines that may appear distinct. This sensitivity shapes a design approach rooted in sustainability, ecological balance, and respect for place.
NSULÆ’s mission is to deliver specialized, targeted services, adaptable to each context and objective, ensuring measurable results in terms of quality, time, and cost.
